The Guide
Now available! - CoPro Guide 2010 Updated Edition

So,how is it actually done?

The guide (292 pages) contains a processed database of international film festivals, film and art foundations and sponsors, and guidelines on distribution via festivals and the Internet, as well as bringing about co-productions.

Processed Data
Festivals and foundations are not merely listed by name, contact info and submission dates, but are also analyzed by their nature and by their previous eligibilities and winners, thereby projecting which filmmaker and/or film has a better chance to get backing or win an award.

Many foundations and festivals are run by directors who leave their personal mark on them. There’s also the point of traditions passed on from one content editor to the next, thus shaping and formulating the nature of the particular festival/foundation.

The guide takes the readers further inside, way beyond the bare facts and figures of deadlines and requirements, thereby aiding them in making the right choices: Would it be worth their while to invest in pitching to this or that foundation? Should they apply for this or that festival and abstain from others in the interim?
