Pitching Sessions Calendar
December 2010
Monday, December 20: Last day to submit projects for the Pitching Sessions.
March 2011
Sunday, March 06: Last day to submit projects for the New Media Pitching Session.
The second week of March: Announcement of the selection results.
Wednesday- Friday, March 23-25
Master class -preparation workshop for filmmakers whose projects were selected to be presented at the Pitching sessions. The filmmakers and producers will be given personal guidance and consultation sessions in which they will be instructed on the working process with the various television networks that have expressed interest in their projects. The consultation sessions will be coordinated with the filmmakers and will last about 90 minutes.
April May 2011
Wednesday, April 13 or Thursday, April 14: First Session of pitching simulations to practice presentation (9:00 – 16:00).
Wednesday, May 04 or Thursday, May 05: Second Session of pitching simulations to practice presentation (9:00 – 16:00).
The simulation sessions will be coordinated with the filmmakers and will last about 30 minutes.
The 13th Israel Market for International Co-Productions, May 23 - 30
Wednesday-Thursday, May 26 - 27, from 10:00 to 18:00: Pitching Sessions in front of the panel and One-on-One Meetings between the pitchers and the commissioning editors.
The Pitching Sessions are to be held at the Eshkol Payis Hall, Ha’arba’a St. Tel-Aviv, behind TLV Cinematheque. The event is open to the broad public and will be held in English.
